1. Does filling up of the Registration Form guarantee admission to School?
Ans: No. Filling up of the Registration form is merely the first step to be eligible for admission. It does not in anyway guarantee admission in the School.
2. I am not very comfortable in filling up the Online Registration Form. Do I have any other option if I want to apply?
Ans: Registration forms are accepted online only.A copy of the duly filled up form along with the self attested photocopies of required documents are required to be deposited in the drop box kept at School Gate No. 1 within three days of confirmation of the payment made online.
3. Can I pay the registration fee through a Cheque or Demand Draft or in cash?
Ans: The registration fee can be paid online only. It cannot be paid in cash or through Cheque, Demand Draft .
4. What is the minimum and maximum age limit required to seek admission to the Nursery Class?
Ans: The child should be born between 01.04.2020 and 31.03.2021 to be eligible for admission to the Pre School Class. Any parent seeking age relaxation upto 30 days i.e., born between 01.03.2020 and 31.03.2020 or 01.04.2021 and 30.04.2021 in respect of his ward may approach the Principal/HOS for seeking exemption through a manual application for his consideration.
5. If I live within 1 km radius from school, will my child be given preference while seeking admission to Nursery Class?
Ans: The calculation of points is based on the guidelines set by the Department of Education(DOE) , Delhi .
6. What do First Name of the Applicant and Last Name of the Applicant refer to in the Application Form?
Ans: The field First Name of the Applicant refers to the name of your child and Last Name of the Applicant refers to the surname/family name.
7. If my residence does not fall in any of the options indicated in the form, will I be able to still avail the school transport facility?
Ans: The point calculation is based on the guidelines set by the Department of Education(DOE) , Delhi . Transport facility will be available on existing routes only. Please refer to the school's website for the same .
8. I already have a child studying in School. Will I get any preference for my second child?
Ans: Yes. Your child will earn additional points under Sibling category (upto 2nd child only) which refers to the real brother or sister only and not cousins or friends. No points shall be awarded if this column (if applicable) is left blank.
9. As a student, I represented my school and college at several Zonal and State Level Tournaments. Will my child get a higher score?
Ans: No. Your child will not get any preference in such a case.
10. I do not have an email id. Can I leave the field blank?
Ans: No. It is a mandatory field and therefore cannot be left blank. Moreover, your email id would be used for all future communications regarding admission of your ward.
11. What are the payment options available to pay the Registration Fee online?
Ans: The payment of the Registration Fee can be made online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking.
12. How would I know if I have successfully made the payment towards the Registration Fee ?
Ans: If you have successfully made the payment online, you will receive a confirmation on your registered mobile no. through SMS and through a mail on your registered email id. You will also receive the receipt of the payment made by you on your registered email id (for Rs 25/-).
13. If my child is shortlisted, how would I be informed? Since the registration form is submitted online, will I only be intimated through my email?
Ans: Keep checking the school's website for latest updates.
14. How do I put my signature in the declaration column?
Ans: By making the payment, you automatically accept all the terms and conditions mentioned in the declaration column. Therefore, no signature is required.
15. How do I upload all the photographs?
Ans: You can scan and upload a recent coloured passport sized photograph (with name printed on it) pertaining to the child, father and mother each with 80% face coverage.
